Courses offered

The Institute strives to provide education and training for a profitable and challenging program of theory and practice in hopes to meet the expectations of interested students.

 

With WS 2009/10 the new curriculum for the bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies came into force . The bachelor's program , the Institute organized jointly with the Institute of Banking and Finance , the required courses "Fundamentals of Finance" and deepening " Finance" and automatically the Special Business Administration ( SBWL ) " Finance" with the courses " Investment Planning " and "International Finance " . In the master's program , the Institute organized jointly with the Institute of Banking and Finance , the compulsory course " Master Course Finance" and independently the two SBWL " alternative investments " and " portfolio management. The Institute of Finance has thus compared to other institutes in the master to an additional SBWL . In the master since the summer semester 2013, a compulsory course on " Health Economics" offered to - in analogy to the financial industry - accelerating the research-led teaching. With the exception of required courses practitioners are embedded in all other courses , either in the form of self- teaching opportunities or in the form of guest lectures .
